Joel Proskewitz is an internationally acclaimed strength coach and therapist who works with Professor Stuart McGill (head of spinal biomechanics – University of Waterloo, Canada) in the rehabilitation of lower back pathologies. He is also an assistant instructor for Prof. McGill on the McGill clinical courses and a lead instructor for the McGill Trainer courses.
This one day course is especially made for physical therapists and rehab specialists who deal with clients with back pain. Both lectures and workshops provide delegates with background information on the mechanisms that cause back pain and how these can be assessed and addressed with movement and exercise programming that adhere to the principles of Professor McGill.
This process creates clients who are then liberated to begin training. Then specific principles are workshopped to create pain-free and injury resilient movement/motor patterns, that enables the trainer to move on to more typical programming.
This course builds complete rehab approach from assessment and pain- trigger identification to exercise modification and long term pain prevention.

As we succesfully organized a two-day seminar with Stuart Mcgill in February this year, we decided to invite more known experts from around the world and bring them to this part of Europe. As a logical continuation from Stuart’s course in February (Building the ultimate back: From Rehabilitation to Performance), Joel Proskewitz (McGill provider) will offer us expanded look into exercise programming that adhere to the principles of Professor McGill.
On the same month we’re hosting another known name in the industry. Dr. John Rusin will hold an event in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 29th and 30th of September 2018.
